DREW is 20 MONTHS!!

Okay so what is new I am a couple days late with posting this! Drew turned 20 months on July 26th, CRAZY!! Well all I can say is in ONE month our little guy's vocabulary grew leaps and bounds. I am often amazed at what he knows and at the same time I wander where he learned it. Today I was walking with him holding his hand as we went into the Magic House, and he looked over to the neighboring field and said "People." Hmmmm...

Anyhow, enjoy a the new things he has added to his list of abilities below:

STATS:
We really don't have stats for him this month, but we did weigh him today at the Magic House and the scale said around 31 1/2 lbs. We need to get a height measuring tool... I know he has grown since his 18month appt.

Whew, this past month was big for Drew. We spent a week at our friend's house watching their girls and I think he picked a large portion of this list there. I will post cute pics from that fun week soon. I am sure I am forgetting things, but I thought this list was huge. We couldn't ask for a better little man!

David's 20 Year Youth Group Reunion!!

Sorry for the delay in posting we went from fun times with David's family, to my friend's house to watch her kiddos, to Louisiana, Branson, then home... Whew, you are exhausted just reading that aren't you.

Anyhow, to finish off the fun week we had with David's family while they were visiting here in the St. Louis area we enjoyed a weekend with old friend's of Davids from his former Youth Group in O'Fallon, IL. Here are some fun shots from that weekend!

MORE FUN WITH FAMILY...

We were just so blessed to have David's family in town last week. Erin & the kiddos stayed with us for a few days then his parents rotated in at the end of the week. One of our first adventures was a trip to the St. Louis Zoo, which never gets old.

Finally after a few visits since we lived here, the HIPPOS were out. Let me tell you I was so excited! They are by far my favorite animal!! I had to be peeled away from their tank.

Enjoy some pics from the day!!

FUN with Family!

It was so great this past week because we had David's sister & her kiddos from Oklahoma, plus his parents from Seattle here for their 20 year Youth Group reunion in O'Fallon, IL. It was so neat to see a reunion the glorified God! It definitely makes me reflect on my "youth" and how I wish I would have had church in my life. Here are some fun photos from our trip to Grant's Farm. I will have to separate out these posting because well... TOO MANY PICTURES, as always!

KIDDOS (this is the only one Drew was looking)

19 MONTH - CHIT CHATTIN' CHARLIE!

I can't stress enough how much Drew loves to talk. It seems he is learning new words all the time, I am often amazed. The funniest thing lately is he thinks he is "2." I am not really sure where he learned this. He turned 19 months of June 26th, and again I will repeat... I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!!

It is hard to think of all the new things he is doing & saying, but let me try to recap a few:

*WORDS (he tries to repeat just about everything...such a chatter box):
Pee Pee (makes me proud)
Two
Pool
Nemo
Doc (from Cars)
Boat
Jeep (atleast a good attempt at it)
Fish
Poo Poo

*NEW INTERESTS:
-Loves Choo Choo's, he use to just say car for everything not any more
-Letters: He loves Letters, thanks Court for the awesome Leap Frog Letters. He loves to repeat letters after you, right now he is up to "E."
-He use to whine when his cars dropped to the bottom of the pool, now he is getting brave enough to reach down in the water and get them.
-He loves group hugs (we do this as a family every night before bed)
-He is closing his eyes longer for prayer time
-He is hiding his food in his highchair to make us believe he has eaten it (bad boy)!
-He opens a cell phone on his own and dials numbers (usually by accident, but scary right? The other day he turned my phone on).
-Loves to help unload and load the dishwasher

*BODY PARTS He Knows: Ears, Eyes, Hair, Nose, Teeth, Belly, Hands, Fingers, Feet, Toes, Belly Button, Knees, Elbows, Pee Pee

I am sure I am missing tons of stuff, but as long as I capture most of it! Drew just brightens our days and we just can't wait to see what he will do next! God is good!
