Meeting Baby Brayden

I sooo thankful David works for an airline because I was able to fly back to IL (Aug 2012) and visit my BFF Leslie just a couple weeks after she welcomed her, Oh So Adorable, little man Brayden.  He is such a blessing and one she waited a long time for, which makes him even more special.  I got little baby snuggles & kisses and spent some awesome time with Leslie, Renee, and their families.  I don't get to see them enough and I miss them soooo much!  Here are some fun pics from my visit:

Drew's Best Bud

I am beginning to accept the fact that my best bud here is moving away and not just a little away, but to Texas. It is definitely one of those moments in time where you ask God, "Why." But, I know God's plans are bigger than mine and I am trying to accept that. Through all of the mess at our church we are continually seeking God's plan for our lives as well. We are not sure what our future holds with our current church or even this area, but we do know we will wait on God for the answer because He is good, all the time.

On a lighter note, Drew's best bud here is Emma. They play so well together, and it so funny because I remember a time when that was not the case. Not that they were mean to each other, but Drew wanted to play by himself and Emma wanted to play with him, not a good combo. Drew says Emma's name a lot now, so it will be sad when they move. Here some cute pictures of them at Manchester Pool...

I had to post this one because Courtney kept trying to hid behind the towel... HA HA HA Got YA!!

Chloe, Drew, & Emma... doesn't Chloe look thrilled?!

MY 200th POST! WHOO HOO!!

Hey all, I have been holding off posting because I was trying to think of what to post for my 200th post... because that is a special moment right?! Well, I couldn't think of anything will bells and whistles, so Branson is the Post. We had never been and we great time with our friends and all the kiddos. The will be moving to Texas in a few short weeks, so we are trying to soak up as much time as possible with them. I am very sad about them moving, but we are trying to enjoy every moment possible while they are here. So, with that said enjoy some snapshots of our Branson week...

Boardwalk (or whatever it was called). Watching the Dancing Waters!

Drew has pretty much conquered the steps... Uh Oh!

Jamie, Chloe, & I went to Silver Dollar City in the afternoon! We had a great time! We watched a show, rode a ride, went in a weird house, road the train, and so much more!

I love this picture of Chloe!

We ate at Lambert's on our Last Night, we couldn't believe how well Drew drank out of this cup, which we almost missed because the employees kept smacking Steve with Rolls!
A NIGHT AT THE POOL!! The Men took the kiddos swimming, ah the girls got a break!!

Chloe getting rings from the bottom, she just learned this in swimming lessons, GO GIRL!!

Last Summer Drew loved the pool, this summer it takes a lot of getting use to.. this is priceless!

PLEASE PRAY!!

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not on your own understanding in all your ways acknowledge them, and He will make your paths straight." Prov 3:5-6

I know this is not a typical post for me, but my heart is beyond broken today for my friends. Our Senior Pastor was fired this week and how it all happened is beyond understanding.

So, please pray for our friends Steve & Courtney and their three little girls. We are all very hurt and heartbroken! Join me in praying for God to rectify this situation in His way. My God is a big God and I truly believe is his grace! God blessed us with their friendship, and to think of the possibility of not having them around is unfathomable.
PRAY YOUR HEARTS OUT!!! This family needs it big time!

A Visit From the South..

We recently were blessed to visit with our friends James & Alyson Lee, who were up here visiting from Oklahoma. They are planning a reunion this summer for their O'Fallon, IL church (First Baptist Church, O'Fallon) youth group.. I think David said it has been 20 years... eek! Their boys Garrett & Mason were so good with Drew, they played with him endlessly!

Enjoy these pics for Drew with Garrett & Mason... look at the adorable freckles!

DREW THE FLIRT!!

Drew is proving to be a BIG FLIRT!

First, we went to our friends Courtney & Steve's house for dinner several weeks ago and Drew was goo-gooing over their youngest Maci... Just check out her blue eyes below, how could you resist. He was being so "helpful" in trying to give her a plastic toy bottle, such a gentleman!
Second, A couple weeks ago my friend Leslie and her family came up for the Bi-Annual Once Upon A Child $1 Sale. So, I got to spend some time with her little beauty Katelyn. By the way we got so many steals at the sale, don't you wish you were there?! Check out what is going on below... Mmmmm Hmmm....

Lastly, when we went to the Galleria Mall this past Friday to meet Friends for dinner, our wait was TWO hours... good thing the Cheesecake Factory is worth it. Anyhow, in those TWO hours we waited Drew worked the mall, mostly the ladies. He walked up and down the mall stopping at each person and waving. What a silly boy, I think we can venture to say he is NOT SHY!!
