Roller Coaster Ride!!

Hey Family and Friends.. Well I am writing this as I hear my little guy screaming in the next room with David. He is trying to put him to sleep tonight and it is just not going so well. I am so blessed to have a wonderful husband who helps with no question and doesn't give up. I just know David will be his role model..

So, have you ever felt like you go 10 steps forward then 10 steps back? Andrew has overall been sleeping pretty good at night at 8-9 hours without waking. However, the catch is he will do this for about 4 days then for 2 days he wakes frequently crying. I think I have to chalk it up to teething (drooling and chewing is a give-away). I am so amazed at how fast time flies, it is so hard for me to believe he is already teething. It just breaks your heart when your little one is in pain. We gave him Motrin the other night and he spit it up.. I was so afraid to give him more because I don't know how much stayed in his system. I hope he does not get that from me as I have never been able to take liquid medicine. It seems once you think you get it figured out the wind changes... hmmmm I have heard that is how it happens!

Our main focus right now is getting the little booger to take naps, which has been WAY harder then getting him to sleep through the night. We have read articles, books, and asked for advice..so far nothing has worked. The worst is when his little eyes are so red from being tired. I am not going to give up and I know we will break his nap code. Today he took one 1 1/2 hour nap, whoo hoo!!

We are just taking parenthood day by day.. there are so many more wonderful moments then difficult ones. I just love looking at Drew, he is such a miracle! Through our roller coaster ride lots of other things have taken the backseat... so bare with me as I may not email or call back as quickly as I once did. My priority is that sweet little boy and I would not have it any other way! We are truly blessed!

I attached a cute picture and video.. with teething comes some fun things. This Raspberry teething pacifier is from my friend Angela... he loves it.

Until we meet again, Christie
