Boatin' Down the Mississippi!!

The boat pictures have finally arrived. My Aunt Sharon & Uncle Tom were gracious to offer us a ride down the Mississippi River on their beautiful Pontoon Boat. This was Drew's first boating experience. He wasn't sure about it at first, especially when he had the life jacket on. Once we were out on the smooth water we took the jacket off and he was like a whole new boy.

It was a perfect day to be out on the river. The water was like glass and the temp was awesome. We rode around for about an hour, then stopped at a restaurant called Ducky's (which was yucky), then back on the boat for the trip back. Drew loved it, he ran up and down the boat (no worries we were not going to fast), and at one point I thought Teddy was going to take a swim, thanks Grandpa Bob for encouraging it. Drew absolutely loved watching the passing boats... you knew when he spotted one because all of a sudden he would say "Ooooooo," in a very excited tone!

Once we arrived back to the dock, Uncle Tom showed Drew a Catfish he had caught. Drew was more upset about his feet in the sand & water then the fish. I think the jury is still out on the fish.

Anyhow, it was a wonderful day and now Drew says boat...okay so maybe boa... Enjoy the pics from our day!
