OUR GROWING BOY!!

Drew had is 18 Month Dr.'s appt today and we were yet again blown away by how fast, literally, our little man is growing. Let me first say he was chatting (flirting) with the nurses and Dr, plus chasing one down the hall. They all commented on how they couldn't believe how verbal he was! That could be trouble!!

The doctor said, "He is Bright!" Yeah we know...LOL!! God truly blessed us with this little man, and we are reminded of that every day.

Since the 18 Month Post last week Drew is now...

SAYING:
"I See Cars" or "I See Geese"
"Ewwwwweeee"
"Cool"
"Mama's Car"
"Choo Choo"

DOING:
*Putting keys where they go, like he can pretty much put the keys in the truck door and front door.

*Have I told you before that I can put him down in a parking lot and he will find my truck every time? I tell him "find Mommy's truck and touch the wheel." RIGHT! everytime!

*Running really quickly in place, in which I reply "Flash Dance." For those of you who have seen that movie you will know what I am talking about... hint...I'm a Maniac!

*When he sees a helicopter, big truck, or airplane you will suddenly hear a big "Ooooooo" out of him. He gets so excited!

OKAY....NOW FOR WHAT YOU SO PATIENTLY WAITED FOR... STATS!!!

Let's just start by saying he was off the charts in height..

HEIGHT: 35.75" - off chart (this is 2.25" up from his Feb 15 mo appt, they had to measure him three times to get an accurate number)

WEIGHT: 29.2 lbs -75% (this was a pretty big jump, up 4.2 lbs from Feb/15 mo appt)

HEAD: Okay this one is off somewhere... today they said 19.29," which means it shrunk from Feb where it was 19.5". Crazy I know... it is the one measurement that is not consistent!

So, needless to say Drew is very healthy and right on schedule and even ahead of schedule in a few areas. So my prediction we are going to have a very tall, handsome, smarty pants!!
