Dedicating Zach to the Lord!

We were blessed this Mother's Day to dedicate Zach at our church. It was sweet because there was only one other family.  We didn't think it was going to be possible because originally we were the only family and they wanted to combine everyone at the earlier service but I knew it would be best for us to wait since it was so important for our friends to be there and share in the celebration, which could only happen at the later service.  Since all of our family lives far away it was even more important for our friends to be there.  After telling the church just that, our awesome Pastor stepped in and said he wanted us to be able to do it at 10:30, YAY for Pastor Richard!  Even more of a blessing one of our absolute favorite people got to be part of the dedication, Miss Charla!

David The Hunter, WHAT?!

David had the opportunity to go on a Guy's weekend with 2 of his high school buddies James & Chip), one of which lives in McKinney, this past December.  YAY for David and our family, having James and his family close by has been such a blessing because we don't have any family close by, and they have been family to us!! Love ya James & Alyson!

Okay, so I told him have Jame's get you are deer and we will process it for the meat, since it is very lean!!  Little did I know he was going to get a license to hunt, imagine my shock as David has a very tender heart for animals.  THEN, I get the text that he shot a deer.. can you say shocked?! I asked him how it felt and he told me he didn't cry.. So, he had a great time & got a deer, pretty cool! Enjoy some pictures from their weekend...

Mother Son Date Knight 2013

I LOVE Chickfila, if you didn't already know that then you do NOW!  Well, they do some really fun activities for families.  On April 20, 2013, I was blessed to take my boys to their second Mother Son Date Knight.  They go ALL out, this year they had a balloon artist, a man playing piano music, the staff waiting on tables, the tables are decked out with decorations and fun stuff, of course the COW dressed as a knight, and goodies for us when we left.  Such a special time, well it would have been if the kids didn't get up way early that morning to cheer me on in a 5K followed by a WHOLE day at the zoo.  Well, it was an experience with CRAZY boys, but I still enjoyed the evening.  Here are some pictures from the evening:

Zach Turned ONE- IN JANUARY!

Eek, I am only almost 5 months late in posting this!!  Soo, as you know my Zach-Attack turned 1 January 19, 2013.  I can't believe he is almost a year and a half... CRAZY!  Let me tell you he is the sweetest thing you will ever meet with a smile that just melts your heart!

Zach loves to laugh, especially at himself!  He LOVES to eat and is quickly showing the Hagerhjelm Sweet Tooth!  He says: Car, Mama, Dada, Car..  He is crawling everywhere and walking along the furniture, but at this point had not ventured out to walking on his own.  He has such a sweet disposition and I can't wait to see how that plays into his personality as he grows! Graffeti Run- 5K AWESOMENESS!!

As many of you know I am not a real fan of working out,but I know I need to do it to keep my body healthy and of course to keep this weight off I have worked soooo hard to loose.  Well, my plan to do this is to do a 5K every 2-3 month.  So far it has been a succesful ideal!  My friend Courtney and I ran a Graffeti 5K run on February 2, 2013, in Fort Worth, TX.  What is a Graffeti run you ask????  Well, it is an awesome race where they bomb you with paint throughout the course.  Even with a majority of the people walking this race we were able to run the entire thing in 37min. I think that is pretty darn good!! Enjoy some pictures from our day!!

Zach Trimmed Up!!

We were debating whether to take Zach in for his first haircut because he has such blonde fine hair.  BUT... the last few day he has woken up with his hair sticking up and it was REALLY long on top.  So, with a coupon in hand we set off to get his first haircut on Saturday 3/30/13.  The lady he had was wonderful and with a sucker in hand Zach sat still almost the whole time with no issues.  Here are some cute pics!
