Today Andrew had his two month appointment, which started with big smiles and ended with bigger tears. He had to get 4 shots as well as take a liquid vaccination, not to mention get everything checked. He has had a fever this evening and is very fussy.. it is one of those Mom moments where you wish you could just take the discomfort away. We gave him medicine for the first time, which is always scary, but getting him to feel better is the first priority. We are snuggling him lots as well as loving him up.
To report the good news, our little one is GROWING... he now measures 12lbs 2oz and is 24" in length. I knew he was getting heavier as sometimes when I hold him, my arm seems to fall asleep. He is also sleeping better everday averaging from 7-9 hours at night getting up only once briefly for a diaper change and a little grub. I have also found that naps are essential to him having a great day as well as a better night's sleep.. the only problem is he is not a fan of naps. Hmmmm..
I tell you what having a wonderful husband like David makes being a parent that much more rewarding. I just love watching him with Andrew; besides Mommy, Daddy is the next funniest person on the planet to him.
