ALL ABOUT DREW...

So, I have been writing lots about Evan lately and I thought it was time to post a little something about Drew. Poor Kid, I tell you he just gets no attention, but no worries there because he demands it. I really appreciate him, he is so independant, but with that also comes "SASSY."

You hear about the "Terrible TWO's," but I wasn't completely prepared. Drew has his oh so sweet moments but he also has those moments where he grows horns. Lately he has been telling me to go away and just today he called me...ugh I hate to even repeat it..."STUPID." Needless to say he has had he share of "Whine Spray (vinegar)" lately.

He is 2 1/2 a half and still so smart, I am amazed at the things this kid comes up with and impressed how he understands things. Let's see if I can think of some new Drewisms:

*"Mommy you can't say/do that.."

*"Put Evan in the bouncer/swing," This is when he wants his time alone with us.

*Just the other day he told me, "Mommy can we go inside, it is too hot out here." Let me tell you this was at around 10am in the morning in our backyard.

*Tonight we were talking about Bubble Gum and he just cracked himself up, which he does often, by saying it other ways... like Gubble Bum.

*"Yeah Sure"

*He loves to color, the problem is he likes to color on EVERYTHING.

*He prays for most of our meals, which is so sweet

*His new favorite cartoon is Super Why

*He loves Evan and often kisses his head, helps give him the pacifier, and talks to him. The sweetest thing is when he holds his hand, which he does often in the truck when we are going somewhere.

*He loves to check the video monitor, which he knows how to turn on and change the channel.

*He often requests Fruit Loops for breakfast, so healthy. I just don't ask him anymore so I cna change it up.

*"Mommy I want to go Potty"....drum roll please, he is doing it. He started about two weeks ago just sitting on the potty with a diaper and then went once and that has been the case off and on over the last two weeks, well two days ago he woke up with a dry overnight diaper and asked to go potty all day, so we had a dry diaper/pull-up until night time. Success.. He has gone back and forth, but is going more consistently on the potty. We haven't conquered the backside yet, but I have faith we will soon! I am so proud of him and glad I took the advice of waiting until he is ready, because we are moving right along. I was so proud to put him in pull-ups the other day. Once he is consistent in those we will go get some big boy pants! Just a reminder that he is growing up way to fast.

I am sure I am forgetting things, but these are what come to mind.
