Behind again, I think that will be my new nickname, but to my defense we had some friends in town from St. Louis this weekend and to my surprise I got a kidney stone on Saturday night out of the blue. I was fine all day then suddenly I got a sharp pain late that evening. It just wouldn't go away, so with encouragement from my friend Leslie (as she is very experienced with kidney stones) I went to the emergency room. I have never been in so much pain in my life, even labor wasn't that bad. Luckily the stone passed Monday morning. Anyhow, the saddest part is I couldn't nurse Evan for 24 hours after I took my last pain pill... grrrr.. Thankfully it wasn't longer and I had almost enough stock in the freezer. We only had to use formula twice, Praise God.
Now, on to the reason for the real post.. Evan turned two months officially last Wednesday and that is just crazy! Here is what he is up to...
*He is smiling so much and cooing alot. He loves to spend time of the floor just checking out the world around him.
*He is kicking and hitting his toys on the bouncer and activity mat, which is has a ball doing.
*He is makes great eye contact when you talk to him
*He is a quick eater
*He loves to snuggle
*He is a good sleeper, he is currently sleeping 6-7 hours straight at night and taking 3 great naps during the day.
*He is very strong.. even before we left the hospital he was trying to hold his head up. You can now hold him sitting up and he holds his head up.
*He clinches his fists so tight and it is hard to get his hands open...so no hand prints yet
*He is such a sweet boy!

Evan's so cute! I like his little outfit. About the kidney stone... I remember our childbirth class instructor told us there was only 1 thing worse than labor and that was a kidney stone!! So sorry you had to experience that. Ugh. Sounds like everything else is good though!
